Team sbaMass is back for the 2009 Falmouth Road Race! Help support our 25 runners as they raise funds and awareness for the Spina Bifida Association of Massachusetts.
The sbaMass is dedicated to promoting the prevention of Spina Bifida and enhancing the lives of all affected. The sbaMass provides a community of support, advocacy and education for individuals in Massachusetts and the surrounding New England states. Spina Bifida is the most common permanently disabling birth defect in the U.S. today, often requiring extensive medical care as well as educational and social services.
Funds raised in this year's race will allow for expansion of several initiatives, including the 'Parents Helping Parents' and Teen, Tween Parent and Young Adults programs.
Donations will also support the sbaMass commitment to provide financial assistance to our members for equipment, educational aids, camp and school fees and other needs related to Spina Bifida.
As a 2009 Falmouth Road Race Charity Organization, we hope to raise $35,000 in support of our cause. Thank you for your support.
